I’m Kristy, the photographer behind Kristy Kennelly Photography.

My work sits at the intersection of editorial fashion and portrait photography, creating images that feel polished, composed, and confidently directed.

Before photography became my creative focus, my background was in health and occupational rehabilitation. I also ran my own health coaching and exercise physiology business for many years, working closely with women navigating demanding careers and stress-related health challenges.

This experience shaped the calm, intuitive way I approach photographing people today.

Alongside photography, I’ve always been drawn to interiors, architecture, and styling. My husband and I have completed several property renovations, and I’ve also worked as a property stylist. That influence carries through into my work, particularly in the way I approach light, composition, and environment.

My focus is on creating imagery that feels editorial, modern, and striking. Photographs that feel as though they belong in a magazine, but still reflect something real.

I’m based in Brisbane and photograph across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
